Jami's Sunday Sanctuary - Full Moon Strength

Jami Hanna | FEB 1

Beautiful Soul ~

Tonight we welcome the Full Moon on February 1st—a luminous reminder that even when the world feels uncertain, light still rises.

I’ve always loved the full moon for what it represents: illumination. It doesn’t necessarily change the circumstances around us… but it changes what we can see. It highlights what has been hidden. It brings clarity. It pulls truth to the surface—not to overwhelm us, but to invite us into honesty.

And goodness… haven’t we all been craving honesty lately?

So many of us are feeling the collective angst of this world. The grief. The anger. The fear. The heartbreak. The deep fatigue that comes from caring. Sometimes it feels like the ground beneath us is shifting constantly, and we’re trying to find our footing again and again.

If that’s you, I just want you to know: you are not alone.

This moon is a beautiful invitation to return to your inner strength—not the hard kind, not the clenched-fist kind… but the steady kind. The kind that stays soft without becoming silent. The kind that holds compassion in one hand and courage in the other.

The full moon is also a reminder that we were never meant to do this life alone. That healing doesn’t happen in isolation. That community matters. That your voice matters. That your presence matters.

So tonight, if you can, step outside for a moment. Look up. Take one deep breath. Feel the same moonlight that is touching rooftops and rivers and pines… touching all of us, everywhere.

And maybe ask yourself gently:

  • What am I ready to release?

  • What am I ready to stand for?

  • How can I stay connected—rather than shutting down?

Let this full moon be a soft reset. A reminder that you are allowed to feel everything… and still keep moving forward. That you can be kind and strong at the same time. That we can hold one another through this.

And if you’re struggling, please lean on us. Come to class—whether you practice with me in person or online. Reach out if you need support; you can always email me, or connect with me before/after class if you’re local. And truthfully… I may need to lean right back on you, too. I don’t have all the answers—I just know we really need one another right now. Keep showing up. Even imperfectly. Even tenderly. That is the practice.

With love and steadiness,
Jami
