A FREE introductory journey
Yoga is far more than postures on a mat. It is a vast and sacred tradition, and in our one-hour classes we can only touch a small portion of its beauty and depth. I often leave frustrated that I did not have more time to go deeper. So, in this free, introductory course, we will journey back to yoga’s sacred roots—exploring where it began, how it was preserved through oral tradition for thousands of years, and how its timeless wisdom continues to guide us today. Together, we’ll gently scratch the surface of ancient texts, core principles like balance, mindfulness, ethical living, and the importance of sangha—community.
This offering is for anyone curious about yoga beyond the physical practice: beginners, long-time practitioners, and those feeling called to reconnect. My hope is not only to help you understand yoga’s history, but to invite you to live its wisdom—carrying compassion, awareness, and connection into everyday life.
✨ Free. Accessible. Rooted in tradition. Shared in community.
*This is a live Zoom class with space for discussion and shared reflection if you’d like to participate. The teaching portion will be recorded for those who register but are unable to attend live. To protect everyone’s privacy, any group discussion or personal sharing will not be recorded.
